All funds raised are 100% applied towards the next “Honor Flight” that will take WWII Veterans to Washington, DC to visit the WWII Memorial at no personal cost or expense to them. The urgency is real as these heroes are dying at a rate of over 800 per day. It costs $550 per veteran to accomplish the trip. Your help is needed and appreciated.

Our fundraiser is set for The Rockin’ Ham Bar and Grille on Rockingham Road , across from Oscar Mayer, on Saturday, August 29, 2009.

The management of the “Rockin’ Ham” has generously donated their venue for this event and we have secured the service of local favorite “The Ron La Puma Band”.

Admission is $5.00 per person to attend this event, which starts at 8:30pm, and will include raffles and prizes.

The Honor Flight Mission: The intention is to honor as many of our local and regional heroes who were selfless in their military duty, with a free trip to visit their memorial. Veterans from a 75 mile radius of Moline are encouraged to apply for the trip. The Ranch Riders short term goal is to raise $1650 for the program, which will send 3 vets to Washington, DC .
